Illinois Women’s Writers Group Honors Communist News Organization

The Communist Party USA (CPUSA) was founded in Chicago, Illinois in the year 1919. Since it’s founding it was funded, and heavily controlled by, the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (U.S.S.R./CCCP). According to the CPUSA’s own documents, it’s founders were directed by the Communist Party to “form “fighting organizations for seizing control of the state, for the overthrow of government and the establishment of the workers’ dictatorship“. Even today, CPUSA members are anti-American even while trying to give the impression that they care about the poor, unions, and minorities.

But the CPUSA’s hatred for the United States, nor it’s founding mission, has dissuaded a women’s writers group in Chicago from heaping laurels onto the Communist organization’s propaganda arm.

According to the CPUSA news, People’s World, The Illinois Women’s Press Association (IWPA) has bestowed at least 9 awards on People’s World for propaganda…er I mean articles, written by some of their reporters. The Co-Editor of the CPUSA will also be the recipient of the coveted IWPA “Silver Feather” award:

“CHICAGO – The Illinois Woman’s Press Association announced earlier this month that People’s World writers are among the recipients of top awards in this year’s 74th Mate E. Palmer Communications Award Contest. In addition, PW co-editor Teresa Albano will be the 2015 IWPA Silver Feather Award recipient.

The IWPA is believed to be the nation’s oldest organization of women writers, established in 1885 in Chicago and is the founding mother of the National Federation of Press Women, which was established in 1937. The awards contest is named after IWPA’s ninth president Mrs. Mate E. Palmer, a lifetime member of the association, having joined the year of its founding.

The Silver Feather Award was established in 1972 and is presented to the Mate E. Palmer Award Contest entrant with the highest point total. PW received six first place awards, one second place, two third place and two honorable mentions across journalistic categories.

The IWPA was founded in 1885 in order to provide communication and support for women writers.

EPA Head: “Not At All Worried About Republican President Reversing Carbon Restrictions; Low Carbon Future Is Inevitable” (VIDEO)

It would appear that with the crafting of the upcoming EPA rule to restrict carbon emissions on coal power plants at least one Obama campaign promise, to raise the price of electricity, will finally be complete.

During a recent interview with the Huffington Post the Administrator of the EPA, Gina McCarthy said that she was “not at all worried” about a new Republican President reversing the EPA’s upcoming restrictions on carbon. She then when on to state that a low carbon future is “inevitable”:

Reporter: “We are coming into the 2016 campaign season already. You look at the Republicans who have announced so far and they all say Climate Change is not a big deal, or I’m not so worried about it. Do you worry about this Climate Plan dying on the vine if one of them takes office in 2016?”

Gina McCarthy: “No. Not at all. One of the good things about the Clean Air Act is the the EPA knows how to manage the Clean Air Act and how to do rule making under it. It’s going to be very clear that states will be obligated to submit plans, and it’s going to be both legally sound and technically sound as well. So we are quite certain that these obligations will be required. That they will meet the test of time in the courts. I’m also quite sure that the American public now is really looking for Federal leadership on this.

“You know climate actions are not new. States and communities have been doing them. And a lot have been doing them because it saves them considerable money. It pays off for consumers to do energy efficiency programs. People’s aren’t afraid of renewable energy. They like it. What they’re afraid of is continued investment in old technologies that really will not stand the test of time. A low carbon future is inevitable. The question is will we embrace it in a point and time, like today, when the U.S. can provide international leadership and use it to advance our own economy and advance our own job growth.”

Transgender Toddlers: The New Parenting

Before & after: Female Ryland Whittington on the left, “male” Ryland Whittington on the right.

It started with Jazz Jennings, who, at 4 years old in 2004, was the youngest person ever diagnosed with “Gender Identity Disorder”, aka “Gender Dysphoria”, and began “transitioning” from a natural boy to a transgendered female at age 6. Now on puberty blockers as s/he enters adolescence, Jennings gives speeches across the nation, has been featured in several news articles, and now has, uhh, its own reality TV show.

Ryland W

Ryland Whittington’s parents

As Jennings becomes a celebrity, we see others following in the same path, such as Ryland Whittington, who has begun transitioning at 4 years old. “Gender is between the ears, its in your brain. Sex is anatomy, it’s between your legs. They’re two very different things” says Darlene Tando, a gender therapist. “In really simple terms, being transgender is having the body of one gender, and the brain, or the mind, or the spirit of the opposite gender.”

Mimi and Joe Lemay’s son, Jacob, was originally born Mia Lemay. But they also began transitioning when their daughter-son was 4 years old. “Consistence, persistence, insistence” says Mimi, “Those are the hallmarks of a possibly transgender child…A mother’s heart knows when her child is suffering.” Pediatrician Michelle Forcier says “It’s not a fad or a phase” and also recommends that families make the transition at an early age, says it’s riskier to wait and that “the biggest harm is to do nothing.”

"Jacob" Lembay's parent's, Joe and Mimi

“Jacob” Lemay’s parent’s, Joe and Mimi

It’s hard to fault a young child in all of this, after all, they are just young children. They want what they want and they want it NOW! Sort of like extra ice cream, that new Lego set, a puppy… The real question lies with the parents. Who on earth would let their 4 year old make such a life altering decision? I liked Transformers and G.I. Joe when I was 6. By the time I was 10, I didn’t care so much and preferred to play Little League ball. By the time I was 13, I didn’t care so much about Little League and wanted a guitar instead. You see where this is going.

It will be interesting to see where these kids are in 5, 10, or 15 years. Will they, and the parents, regret these transformations? If Ryland and Jacob change their minds at some point, after all the hardships in school and their social lives, will they hold a grudge against their parents for allowing this to happen? When they reach 20, and they had puberty-less teenage years, will they want to change to change back and have to endure more psychological trauma and regret?

Disturbing New Aggressive Blockade Trend At UC Berkeley

A student who appears to have just given blood attempts to get through the blockade in order to get to class

Over the last week, there have been 2 separate instances of UC Berkeley students forming blockades across one the main entrances to the campus to raise awareness and protest, uhhh, stuff, or something. Because the system!

The Daily Californian reports:

A group of about 50 students and some community members gathered at Sather Gate on Tuesday, (April 14th,) protesting police brutality and what they called a hostile campus atmosphere for the underrepresented minority population.

Initially led by the Stop Mass Incarceration Network, the protest was organized as part of a series of coordinated responses nationwide to police brutality.

More than 50 individuals blocked pedestrian traffic through the passageway under Sather Gate.

On a few occasions, passers-by’s attempts to break through the blockade were met with violent responses. UCPD spokesperson Lt. Marc DeCoulode said there were three reports of assault during the protest, while no arrests were made.

One protester referred to black students as “endangered species” while others voiced their displeasure at the display of intolerance. “This type of thoughtless, angry protesting is the essence of the problem of campus climate,” student Nicolas Jaber said. “As long as students resort to these tactics, we will never be able to come together and have a thoughtful discourse about race and gender.”

In the video posted by the Daily Californian, the wackjobs are heard chanting “UC BERKELEY’S RACIST AS HELL! SHUT IT DOWN, SHUT IT DOWN!” Supposed student Jonathan Verdugo says they are “raising solidarity”, while getting into physical encounters with students trying to pass to make it to their class, including minorities and one student who appears to have just given blood. Verdugo goes on to identify himself as an illegal alien. “Most of the people honestly do understand that the idea behind the blockade is to disrupt business as usual, and that’s why its an inconvenience, it’s purposely doing so, in order to convince people to recognize the inconvenience that black youth and people of color face on a daily basis” says Sierra Barton. Gabrielle Shuman adds “They’re literally doing what we’re talking about, in trying to jump over us and ignoring us… They feel that entitled that they don’t need to listen to what we’re saying, so honestly, it’s frustrating”

The protesters ceased their blockade at about 4:00 PM, when groups of students trying to get to class started bull rushing the line of arm-linked wackjobs.

But that wasn’t the end of it. The professional protesters gathered up again on Saturday, April 18th, this time lead by the Black Student Union.

After assembling in front of Sproul Hall holding Black Lives Matter signs and speaking into megaphones, the students marched to Sather Gate about 11:30 a.m. For more than an hour, they remained lined up in front of the gate, tying rope across it. By about 1 p.m., they reopened the gate.

“This inconvenience is nothing compared to the inconvenience that black students feel on this campus,” said Myles Santifer, chair of the BSU and a UC Berkeley junior.

Meanwhile, hundreds of people streamed through campus for Cal Day, an annual event held to showcase the campus, particularly to prospective students and parents. Although a few people attempted to push through the gate — one man tripped as he tried to struggle through — most people walked around it.”

In addition to protesting in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement, which emerged after police killings of unarmed black men in various places across the country, the students spoke of 10 demands made by the BSU to Chancellor Nicholas Dirks. Released last month, the demands include proposals to hire two full-time black admissions staff members and to rename Barrows Hall to honor Assata Shakur, an activist who has been dubbed a terrorist by the FBI.

caldayprotest_rgarner-900x580Note the “Assata Taught Me” shirt. This is in reference to the above mentioned Assata Shakur. Shakur was a militant Black Panther activist who was involved in shootouts with police, and indicted on robbery and kidnapping charges. In all, she was found guilty of Murder 1 and seven other felonies. She was sentenced prison, only to be broken out by armed members of the Black Liberation Army, who took hostages and stole a van. Shakur eventually fled to Cuba, where she supposedly remains today. This is the “hero” these morons want to name a building after.

Socialist Poster Child Dodges Payroll Taxes, Stiffs Staffers

kshamastrikepoverty-e1384835232138Kshama Sawant ran on the “Socialist Alternative” party ticket, and won her Seattle city council seat in 2013 by campaigning on wage fairness.

However, like all good Marxists who eventually take power, Sawant has spun a hypocritical 180 when it comes to her own finances.

From Shift WA:

“It turns out Sawant is spending a sizable portion of her campaign funds on five different campaign consultants, as she tries to win her re-election campaign for city council. She’s spent just over $12,000 for the consultants so far and that’s in stark contrast to her colleagues. Jean Godden has spent about $6,000. Council member Tim Burgess spent just over $2,000 on consultants; Mike O’Brien has spent nothing.

“And it’s the $12,000 Sawant is spending that has some folks wondering if she’s a hypocrite — because she’s not paying these consultants as employees, she’s paying them as contractors.

“So what’s that mean? Why is that a big deal? According to Josh Feit at PubliCola, there’s no sign of payroll taxes (such as unemployment insurance or social security payments).’ And he writes, ‘Sawant has been skirting the rules by not paying into the public workers’ safety net.’”

The far-left—including Sawant and her supporters—has long decried this method of payment as a means for “evil big businesses” to “circumvent minimum wage, overtime and anti-discrimination laws.” So why, asks KIRO Radio’s Jason Rantz, “is it OK that Sawant is doing it? How isn’t this hypocritical?”

EXPOSED: Rape Record For Anti Gun “Social Justice” Advocate

What happens when a social justice warrior’s rape record intersects with his run for student body president?

The startling past of Tony Funchess has come to light. Currently running for student body president of Portland State University, someone distributed a flyer around the college detailing Mr. Funchess’ criminal past, which centered around a 3 year jail term for 2 sex abuse charges; Sodomy III and Attempted Rape II.

According to court documents obtained by Progressives Today/Gateway Pundit, on January 1st, 2000, then 23 year old Funchess “intentionally took a substantial step toward having sexual intercourse” with a female who was 13 years old at the time. On March 22nd, 2005, a then 28 year old Funchess “knowingly” engaged in sexual activity with a female who was 16 years old, who happened to be his pastor’s niece.

Tony Augustino Funchess is a well known social justice advocate throughout the city, at one time serving as the Vice President for the Portland chapter of the NAACP, and has been seen at several events, including giving speeches at Micheal Brown #Ferguson rallies where he called for reparations. Funchess also actively opposed the arming of campus security, giving a speech where he claims that “Guns DO jump out of holsters and kill folks”, while also attempting to guilt a black university administrator into opposing the proposal.

It is further revealed that Mr. Funchess had a warrant for his arrest that included 4 additional counts; Sexual Abuse I, Rape III, and 2 counts of Sexual Abuse III, which appear to have been dropped after a plea bargain. Furthermore, Funchess owed back child support, and a portion of his bond money was confiscated to cover that. Funchess had also been previously arrested for, but not convicted, of Domestic Violence (3 times), Aggravated Assault, Child Abuse, Threats/Intimidation, Kidnapping, and Assault in several separate incidences.

Democrat State Auditor Indicted On Tax Fraud

troy_kelley_2Troy X. Kelley, Washington state Auditor, has been indicted on 10 counts of tax fraud, and is being prosecuted by the United States Department Of Justice.

From a press release put out by the DOJ:

A U.S. Grand Jury in Seattle has returned a ten count indictment against TROY X. KELLEY, 50, of Tacoma for his scheme to keep stolen money and hide it from both the IRS and those due a refund related to their purchase of a home or refinance of a home mortgage, announced Acting U.S. Attorney Annette L. Hayes.  KELLEY currently serves as the elected Washington State Auditor.  The majority of the criminal conduct detailed in the indictment spans years prior to KELLEY’s election to statewide office.  However, some of the criminal conduct detailed in the indictment occurred following his election.

According to the indictment, between 2003 and 2008, KELLEY operated a business that was paid by real estate title companies to track documents related to real estate sales and refinancings.  KELLEY had agreements with those companies for the fees he could charge in connection with the document-tracking work.  While the title companies withheld $100-$150 on each loan to pay the fee, the bulk of the money was to be returned to the borrower with KELLEY’s company being paid $15- $20 per transaction.  However, the indictment alleges, in most cases, KELLEY kept the entire amount withheld on each loan resulting in more than $2 million in stolen money.  This conduct is the basis for count one of the indictment:  Possession and concealment of stolen property.  When the amount withheld by title companies became the subject of civil litigation, the indictment alleges KELLEY obstructed the litigation, repeatedly lying in a declaration and in depositions while under oath.  For this conduct KELLEY is charged with four counts of false declarations and one count of attempted obstruction of a civil lawsuit.  Further, the indictment alleges KELLEY failed to pay federal taxes and obstructed the IRS in its efforts to collect taxes from him.  He is charged with corrupt interference with Internal Revenue laws and two counts of filing false income tax returns.  Finally, KELLEY is charged with making false statements to Internal Revenue Service agents who questioned him about his scheme in April 2013.

Kelley is a member of the Democrat party, and was elected as state Auditor in 2012. Prior to that, he served as a state representative for 6 years. In addition to be the Auditor for the state, he also holds the rank of Lt. Colonel JAG officer with the state National Guard.

WHAT? Chairman California Air Resource Board: “EPA’s Authority Meant To Spread Success Across The Country”

Mary N Crzy(Above) Mary Nichols Chairman California Air Resources Board (Image Examiner)

A new study suggests that the EPA’s new Carbon Dioxide Regulation could cost the American people at least 300,000 jobs.

But on Wednesday, while defending the EPA’s new regulation in front of the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee, Mary Nichols the Chairman of California Air Resource Board stated that the EPA was just using its authority the way it was intended. To spread success across the country.

“I’m here today to share some of our successes with you, and to emphasize the EPA is using it’s Clean Air Act authority in the way that it was meant to. To spread success across the country, and to encourage each state to develop it’s own plan to cut carbon pollution and to grow its economy.”

Video below (comment begins at 1:43):

According to the EPA’s own website the authority of “spreading success” is neither listed in its mission statement nor under the Clean Air Act.

EXCLUSIVE VIDEO: Obama’s Communist Mentor Boasts About Lying To The FBI

obama frank marshall davis

In a video that was recently released, Obama admits that his mentor, Frank Marshall Davis, schooled him on race.

In a 1995 interview Obama admitted Frank Marshall Davis schooled him in “white racism.”

“And the conversation finally ends with me having a conversation with a close friend of my maternal grandfather, a close friend of gramps, a black man from Kansas named Frank. Actually at the time a fairly well known poet named Frank Marshall Davis who had moved to Hawaii and lived there. And so I have a discussion with him about the kinds of frustrations I’m having and he sort of schools me that I should get used to these frustrations.”

Let’s hope Davis didn’t school Obama on respect for law enforcement.

In the following exclusive video, Frank Marshall Davis boasts about lying to the FBI in order to hurt “Uncle Toms” and promote “militants”:

INTERVIEWER 1: You had some few later dealings with the FBI throughout your life, yeah?

FRANK MARSHALL DAVIS: Oh yeah. Yeah. Yeah, I’ve had the FBI, but I, I often had the FBI contacting me in, at the Associated Negro Press. They were going, they wanted to find out whether such and such a person who had applied for a job in Washington was a, a good risk. So I had determined that if this brother who applied for this job in Washington was an Uncle Tom, then I would tell the FBI that this person was no, was a risk, and he was no good. And so I, I used to work this in the reverse, and if a person had, was officially a militant, I would praise them the highest. I would say he is completely in favor of the Constitution of the, he supports the entire Constitution and so forth, so it would have just the, I hoped it would have just the opposite effect on the FBI.

INTERVIEWER 1: OK we’ll, we’ll stop right there on this one. Maybe it’ll be a good note to call it off.

The interviewer was probably hoping this footage would never see the light of day.

Obama’s friends and mentors were all radicals who hated the US government. Too bad the media never felt any of this was relevant. Worse, they called anyone who was concerned about his radical ties “racist.”
