OF COURSE: Hillary Clinton Claims The U.S. Has TOO MANY GUNS (VIDEO)

Hillary too many guns

Hillary Clinton recently claimed that there are simply too many guns in the United States. Perhaps she should disarm her security detail and lead by example.

The Washington Free Beacon has a partial transcript:

Hillary Clinton Says America Has ‘Too Many Guns’

Hillary Clinton told a group of supporters on Wednesday that America has too many guns.

During her opening remarks at a gun violence forum in Philadelphia, the Democratic frontrunner attacked the gun industry as the most powerful special interest in America and lamented how many firearms exist in the country.

“When it comes to guns, we have just too many guns,” Clinton said. “On the streets, in our homes, in our neighborhoods. And, you know, there’s been a lot of talk in this campaign, in the primary campaign, about the power of certain interests in our country. And we do have a bunch of powerful interests, make no mistake about it. But there is no more powerful lobby than the gun lobby.”

FLASHBACK: Watch Hillary Clinton Endorse A HUGE TAX ON GUNS (VIDEO)

Hillary Clinton has been pushing greater gun control for years. What do you think she’ll do if she finally becomes president of the United States?

Check out this video from The Federalist:

Watch Hillary Clinton Endorse A Massive 25 Percent Tax On Guns

In a U.S. Senate Finance Committee meeting in 1993, Hillary Clinton was asked if she would endorse a nationwide 25 percent sales tax on guns.

“I am all for that,” Clinton said in response to a question from then-Senator Bill Bradley (D-N.J.), “I just don’t know what else we’re going to do to try and figure out how to get some handle on this violence.”

The plan would have also slapped a $2,500 license fee on all gun dealers, whom Bradley called “purveyors of violence.”

The left wants to take away the right of Americans to own guns.

If Hillary wins in November, watch her finally do it.

New Anti-Gun Ad Shows Alice In Wonderland SHOOTING HERSELF IN THE FACE (VIDEO)

Alice in Wonderland Gun Ad

A new ad from a gun control group shows a little girl portrayed as Alice from Alice in Wonderland finding a handgun and promptly shooting herself in the face.

The Washington Free Beacon reported:

Anti-Gun Ad Features Alice in Wonderland Shooting Herself in the Face

The Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence published the ad titled Alice PSA to its YouTube page Thursday. In it, Alice can be seen following the white rabbit through wonderland when she comes upon a room with a cabinet. In the cabinet she finds a gun, which she then shoots herself in the face with.

“Over one-third of all American households have a gun,” a voiceover says as Alice pulls the trigger. “Ask your neighbor: Is there a gun where they play? Asking saves kids.”

The Brady Campaign said the ad was a response to fairy tales which were rewritten by an author on one of the National Rifle Association’s blogs where characters from classic stories defend themselves and others with firearms.

“You’ve probably heard that the corporate gun lobby is marketing guns to children. Its latest tactic: rewriting classic fairy tales to put guns in the hands of Little Red Riding Hood and Hansel and Gretel,” Dan Gross, Brady Campaign president, said in an email to supporters. “The NRA dreams of a world where every American–adult or child–is armed to the teeth. But the reality is that 50 children and teens are shot every day in this country. Their #NRAFairyTale is more like a nightmare.”

Watch the video:

Progressives are so classy, aren’t they?

When do we get to see an ad where Alice gets an abortion without her parents’ consent?

Howard Stern Schools His Anti-Gun Producer On THE 2ND AMENDMENT (VIDEO)

Howard Stern

When most people hear the name Howard Stern they think of strippers and bathroom humor. However avid listeners know he’s actually a staunch defender of constitutional rights.

From his support of the free market and Israel to his defense of the Bill of Rights (especially the 1st amendment) Howard can be surprisingly conservative at times.

A great example of this took place recently.

The issue of gun control came up on his Sirius-Xm radio show last week.

His long time producer Gary Dell’Abate (aka Bababooey) came into the studio to advocate for massive gun control.

Dell’Abate, who is a long time Clintonista, called for limits on the number of guns and amount of ammunition that citizens can possess.

Stern launched into a full on common sense defense of the 2nd Amendment sending bababooey back to his office with his tail between his legs.

“Whiteness” Presenters Rip NRA, Trump, FOX, Cruz, Rush, Say All Mass Shooters White Males

vlcsnap-2016-04-06-22h01m08s229While giving a presentation on hierarchy and busting hierarchy as part of “whiteness history month” at Portland Community College, presenters Harriet and Charlotte Childress went on a rant about the NRA and white males, saying that there are no mass shooters of any other demographic. They also talk about the psychology involved in debating single issue subjects by NOT talking about the issue, and instead framing it in as an evil hierarchy of some sort.

Earlier in the event, they said that “clueless” Republicans who support who support Donald Trump or Ted Cruz, and listen to Rush Limbaugh and watch FOX news are “conservators of hierarchy”, while showing comic strips that mock the stereotypical conservative.

In a comical twist of irony, they would go on to defend George Wallace, while calling him a “wheel chair rider”, and ignoring his party affiliation when talking about his staunch opposition to equal rights.

The Childress sisters are instructors in chemistry and engineering at Lane Community College. They made headlines three years ago by penning an op-ed for the Washington Post entitled “White men have much to discuss about mass shootings“, which was mocked relentlessly in conservative news.

The title of this lecture was “The Accumulation Effect: The national response to PCC’s Whiteness History Conference grew out of the accumulated effect of generations of hierarchy-busters. Learn simple powerful methods to keep progress for social change/social justice growing exponentially”, and focused on framing things in the concept of dismantling hierarchy, while trying to avoid the term “privilege”

They used a fictitious character, David, to explain how he might be higher on some hierarchies, and lower on others. Such as his race (Asian), height, hair, physical shape, and his ableism. Yes, his physical ability. He is “higher” on the ableism hierarchy scale because he has all 10 of his fingers, yet he’s lower on the sexuality scale because he’s gay and lives with his boyfriend.

Oregon Governor, AG Hold SECRET MEETINGS With Gun Grabbers

From L to R: Governor Kate Brown, Attorney General Ellen Rosenblum, Senate Majority Leader Ginny Burdick

From L to R: Governor Kate Brown, Attorney General Ellen Rosenblum, Senate Majority Leader Ginny Burdick

It’s been a busy week, apparently, for Oregon’s top elected morons. As they struggle to come up with new ways to enact gun control, Governor Kate Brown, Attorney General Ellen Rosenblum, and senate majority leader Ginny Burdick have apparently been meeting with anti gun organizations behind closed doors, away from the public eye, with no announcement or invitation for anyone else to participate.

Denis Theriault of the Oregonian reports:

House Majority Leader Jennifer Williamson, D-Portland, wants to revive a measure that would limit default gun sales when background checks take longer than expected, after the bill earned tepid support and died in the Senate last month.

Advisers for Gov. Kate Brown and Attorney General Ellen Rosenblum huddled with advocates in separate meetings Thursday to hear about executive actions they might take without legislative approval. Brown, up for election this year, had already vowed to “explore” that possibility last month.

And Senate Majority Leader Ginny Burdick, D-Portland, at a forum hosted by the Oregon Alliance for Gun Safety, reiterated her support Wednesday for enacting gun-violence restraining orders. That idea, already in place in California, would create a court-sanctioned mechanism for removing guns from people believed to be at risk of harming themselves or others.

“People are starting to understand that the loud, screaming voices out there do not represent the public,” Burdick said Wednesday. “The dangerous position on this issue is against reasonable gun safety legislation. Vote against reasonable legislation at your peril.”

Oregon’s gun rights community, which blamed the government for slow background checks and saw Williamson’s bill as overreach, gave themselves credit for helping run out the clock.

“Make no mistake, you made the difference. It was your efforts that killed this dangerous and evil bill. You have much to be proud of,” Kevin Starrett of the Oregon Firearms Federation wrote on the group’s website March 3. “Elections are coming and your participation is critical. You have seen once again that your voice matters. Make sure your vote matters.”

Starrett didn’t return a message seeking comment this week.

In comments at the end of the legislative session, Brown expressed disappointment about HB 4147’s demise. But she left the door open for fresh legislation and executive efforts.

Her public safety advisor, Heidi Moawad, met with the left-leaning Center for American Progress on that subject Thursday. The group also met with Aaron Knott, Rosenblum’s legislative director. The Center for American Progress has worked up a national effort that emphasizes tighter enforcement of current gun laws and better collaboration, on gun tracing and background checks, across state lines.

“We’re in listening mode right now,” said Brown’s spokeswoman, Kristen Grainger. “But there’s more consulting to do.”

“This is not a partisan issue outside the Legislature,” said Burdick, who noted widespread public support for simple gun restrictions.

Jim Moore, a political science professor at Pacific University, said that’s true. It’s just that “it’s not very deep.”

“There is a very vocal, but relatively small, group on either side, screaming to be heard and influencing the legislation,” Moore said. “Generally, if we are closer in time to a massacre, the better chances of gun limitation legislation. The farther away we get, the more the gun rights people win out.”

As for any looming political shifts, he cautioned against hand-wringing, or exuberance: “Not that many people will change their electoral support for candidates over gun issues.”

It’s becoming habitual for the anti 2nd Amendment crowd to do their dirty work in secret, as they most certainly don’t want the public to know what they are plotting. Last month a super secret event featuring Gabby Giffords ejected independent media, with notable anti gun organizers Jake Weigler and Colin Cochran escorting out anyone whom they didn’t want hearing what was going on.

Oregon state rep Jennifer Williamson, who took flack for defending child sex abusers and wanting to let violent criminals out of jail early, accidentally let it slip on KATU’s “Your Voice, Your Vote” program that she had been meeting in secret with the Oregon State Police to plot new control schemes.

And let’s not forget that just last month Governor Brown said she would explore executive actions on gun control, but turned into a stuttering mess when asked to elaborate.

Clerk Who Shot Violent Robber NOW CHARGED WITH MURDER TWO

97ef01e9-b7c2-4b2e-9656-b81e432268a0-large16x9_160328_spanaway_clerk_05_1200The mini mart clerk who shot a robber over the weekend has now been charged with Second Degree Murder and booked into jail by Pierce County Sheriff Deputies.

The altercation took place at the Pacific Quickmart in Spanaway, Washington, just south of Tacoma. Min Sik Kim was working that night, and witnesses say 3 men were drinking alcohol outside, then went into the store and started shoplifting items. One of the men decided to go for the cash register and began wrestling with Kim.

KOMO News reports:

But in an exclusive interview with KOMO News, Kim said the shooting was in self-defense.

Kim says the confrontation unfolded when one of the suspects, who had been shoplifting and harassing customers, went to the cash register. Kim says he pulled out a gun, and at first it looked like the man would surrender. Instead he knocked Kim to the ground and grabbed for his gun, Kim said.

“It was going to be either me or him, and I don’t want to leave my family behind,” Kim said. So he pulled the trigger, killing the suspect, who stumbled and fell in the doorway, Kim said.

At that point, the second suspect immediately sat down and waited for police to arrive. He was not arrested and is cooperating with police during the investigation, Troyer said earlier.

Kim is the husband of the clerk who was shot by a robber just last month at the same store.

Pierce County Sheriff Paul A. Pastor can be reached by phone at (253) 798-7530.

Bloomberg Poaches American Heart Association Staffer

vlcsnap-2016-03-25-00h37m23s205

Everytown For Gun Safetown, Bloomberg’s umbrella organization for Moms Demand Action and Mayors Against Illegal Guns, as well as the research and PAC arm of his anti gun efforts, has recently poached one Sarah Higginbotham from the American Heart Association. Higginbotham had most recently served as the AHA’s “Oregon government relations director”, but has now taken on the role of “Regional Director of State Affairs” for Bloomberg.

An email that Higginbotham sent out to Oregon state legislators reads:

Today is my last day as the Oregon Government Relations Director for the American Heart Association.

I want to say how very much I appreciate the opportunity to have worked with you and your staff, and to thank you for your service and dedication.

In my absence, please feel free to contact Eric Batch, Vice President of Advocacy at (REDACTED).

In April, I’ll be starting as a Regional Director of State Affairs with Everytown for Gun Safety, based in NYC. It is certainly bittersweet as I think about leaving Oregon and the important work yet to be done to reduce death and disability from heart disease and stroke.

The AHA’s work in Oregon continues, and I encourage you to work with the new director when they are on board to protect Oregonian’s from tobacco; increase opportunities for physical activity and healthy food; and improve access to quality care for all Oregonians.

Luis Rodriguez, of the American Cancer Society, has replaced me as the Chair of the Oregon Partners for Tobacco Prevention coalition (OPTP). He can be reached at: (REDACTED).

The AHA is currently interviewing folks to take on the Government Relations Director role. The job is posted here.

Thank you again and best wishes,
Sarah

According to Higginbotham’s Linked In page, she has quite the resume, having worked as the state director for wackjob greenie organization Environment Oregon, lobbying firm State Street Solutions, campaign manager for anti gun democrat Dan Rayfield‘s senate campaign in 2010, and as a paid organizer on Obama’s campaign in 2007 and 2008.

In fact, she was apparently so vital to the Obama campaign that he announces her by name at a campaign stop in Corvallis, Oregon, back in 2008.

Here she is in a video from the Alliance For Democracy, complaining about plastic bags in her role with Environment Oregon:

And along with that one, here she is appearing next to a “bag monster”.

So in the constant revolving door of pay-for-policy, who knows what organization she and others will be working for next year, and who might step up to fill her shoes.

Moms Demand Action Anti-Gun Groups Mock Christians & Disabled

MDA Rebecca CohenBloomberg’s Moms Demand Action thought it would be a good idea to post little cartoons of some of the things that pro gun advocates had to say at the hearing on Oregon’s HB 4147 last month, five weeks after the event took place.

The single-pane cartoon series was posted on the Moms Demand Action facebook page, but originated on Rebecca Cohen‘s twitter feed, @design_a_hole, and featured swipes at Christians and disabled people missing digits (not sure if her twitter handle is a reference to designing holes, or she’s calling herself an a-hole who designs).

Let’s take a look at a few of these comic drawings!

In this first one, Cohen and the other clucking hens mock a testifier pointing out one of the many flaws in the background check system, specifically as it pertains to the ATF form 4473 and the requirement that thumbprints be collected by the Federal Firearms Licensed dealer conducting the sale. The man speaking asks what an FFL is supposed to do when a potential gun buyer has no thumbs. The Moms Demand Action crowd immediately laughs at this and ridicules the basis of the argument, while completely ignoring the fact that there are, indeed, disabled shooters who are missing digits, hands, and even entire arms, such as Hunter Cayll, aka Nubbs (missing both hands), Graeme Foote, aka Amputee Shooter (missing one hand), and this guy here who fires a .45 pistol with his feet because he’s missing BOTH his arms.

Not content with only poking fun at disabled people, they turn their attention to ridiculing God and Christians.

As if that weren’t enough, Cohen then turns her attention to one Dan Sandini, who made the case that gun control bills, such as these, were pro rape, and said “Sometimes communism wears orange”, in reference to the Moms Demand Action orange shirted theme. Cohen and Shannon Watts attempt to mock him over these statements.

“I stand by my statements” says Sandini, curator of the Daylight Disinfectant YouTube channel. “I’ve been to Moscow, shortly after the USSR collapsed. I met with people there, I’ve been in their houses. Disarming the public was one of the first things that had to be done in order for the communists to gain control.”

On top of that, the chief sponsor of the bill, Jennifer Williamson, really has been linked to defending child molesters and advocating for lighter sentences for rapists and other violent offenders.

Rebecca Cohen herself made some rather absurd statements at this hearing, comparing background checks to cancer screenings and kindergarten teachers.

One can’t help but wonder why Cohen and the rest of the moms demanding attention were reduced to drawing little cartoons, rather than pulling out the actual video from the hearing, which took place February 4th, 2016. And why was there more than a month delay from the hearing to when this came out? Why didn’t these come out sooner, and before the legislature adjourned for the year?

Perhaps it’s because so many of their own people testified using lies, conflicting data, and other inaccurate statements, such as Ceasefire Oregon’s Penny Okamoto and the aforementioned state representative Jennifer Williamson.

This isn’t their first attack on the disabled. Moms Demand Action has flipped out before over legally blind people having guns, in 2013 after Iowa started issuing conceal permits to blind residents, and more recently over Georgia doing the same. I guess they think the most vulnerable people should be barred from self defense.

The gun control bill that was being deliberated on, HB 4147, later died in committee on the Senate side.

Oregon Governor Vows “Executive Action” On Gun Control

vlcsnap-2016-03-10-16h21m32s83Governor Kate Brown laments over the “gun safety” bills that were defeated in the recent Oregon legislative session. “I will be working to develop legislation for the 2017 session and explore what might be achieved using my executive powers” she said at a press conference last week. When asked to clarify, she struggles to form complete sentences and unloads a string of “uhhh” and “ummm”, while trying to say she wants to keep guns out of the hands of people who shouldn’t have them, which is already the law, which was further bolstered by the passage of SB941 in the 2016 session. So, really, she’s already legislatively accomplished such things.
